ENTRUST's prime responsibilities are to enrol qualifying organisations as Environmental Bodies (EBs) and to audit and inspect their activities to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996. The Landfill Tax was introduced in October 1996 and permits up to 20% of the taxes collected by Landfill Operators to be claimed against Environmental Projects. In short texts the communities present themselves through their main areas of work and interest, along with their locations, goals and dreams. It provides a lively insight into a way of life which is attracting more people every day.
