Closure of innovationONLINE
Innovationonline
(www.innovationonline.info),
the information service that hosts the Zero Emission Network (ZEN), will
cease operations at the end of April this year. After a five-year stint
assisting small and medium-sized businesses the project's host, The
University of Nottingham, has decided that it wants to concentrate its
business support activity on developing more research-based
interventions such as Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (used to be known
as the Teaching Company Scheme) and student placements. This means that
the Zero Emission Network, currently being hosted on the
innovationONLINE website, will not exist after the end of April.
ZEN
was set up as a joint initiative with HHP. Although we are disappointed
with the closure, the project was successful in facilitating the
development of technical services by HHP. This is an ongoing process and
we hope to be able to announce new services and support later this year.
