a HHP ECOSCOPE
is aimed at you.
We
have developed the HHP ECOSCOPE
service in response to a growing demand for more personal assessments
of people’s plans and a detailed look at applicability of principles
demonstrated at HHP. There is no fixed time length and it can involve a one-off
or a series of meetings at HHP or elsewhere.
You decide what you would like included in the HHP ECOSCOPE. It can include any of the following:

Tour of one of the earth-sheltered homes including energy saving
features
·
External tour of site focusing on autonomous water systems
·
External tour of site focusing on renewable energy systems
·
HHP initial assessment of your plans/ ideas with suggestions for follow
up
·
Technical discussion of construction specification and implementation (this
may require extra time or a separate meeting)
It is possible that you may consider this meeting an initial assessment that could lead to you considering whether HHP gets more involved with your plans/ project. These are examples of areas we have got involved with on previous projects:
· Provision of technical advice/drawings (this may involve sub-contracting some work to a CAD expert familiar with HHP design methodology/approach)

A specified piece of other consultancy work (e.g. research into finding
appropriate suppliers of products or services to support your scheme).
·
A reciprocal visit to you, to more fully assesses your local situation.
·
Identify key constraints to your project and offer potential solutions.
·
Assisting you in developing a Project Management Plan/ Action Plan.
·
HHP facilitating or acting as a host for people likely to influence your
project (e.g. hosting a workshop or tour for those providing you with
professional services or your local planning authority)
·
Provide relevant contacts to help promote your project.
·
HHP acting as a mentor for your project (providing ongoing long-term
guidance)
Initial visit:
Private individual/
Not-for-profit organisation/scheme =
£30/hour
for up to 2 persons
(extra
visitors at £15/hour)
Commercial organisation/ Professional = £50/hour
Follow-up visits/meetings/consultancy, etc:
By negotiation post initial visit.
(In
general though, it will be discounted for extended work and for not-for-profit
schemes.)
